St John’s hospice is committed to celebrating and amplifying life, enabling people to live well for as long as possible. As well as our inpatient unit located in St John’s Wood, we work out in the community, across seven North and Central London boroughs providing care to 4,500 patients and their families. From our nurses to our fundraisers, volunteers to our Trustees, our team all share the same passion and commitment to providing quality, holistic care to our patients and their families.
It is an exciting time to join the team as we continue to build on a highly successful CAPEX appeal in 2022. The refurbishment and redesign of our Day Centre, therapy rooms and administrative hub gets under way this year which will allow us to see more patients and their families.
We are lucky to have a dedicated group of Trust and Foundations that support our work and this role will need a great relationship fundraiser to maintain these connections whilst also being given the space to research and develop new relationships in the fields of mental health, community outreach and more.
We are a community and all those who work here become a part of it, we believe strongly in equality and diversity across our employees and our patients and their families. Development of individuals is as important as that of the team. We are a small team doing incredible work and I encourage anyone who is interested in making a difference and seeing those changes every day to apply.
