We are looking for a Marketing & Communication Assistant to join our Marketing and Communications team.
The post holder will provide assistance to the Marketing and Communications team. Will provide marketing and communications support for St John and St Elizabeth Hospital (HJE), including organising and supporting the delivery of Patient, GP and Consultant events at HJE. The role will also include writing promotional materials to support internal and external communications.
The Marketing team within the Commercial department plays a vital role in promoting the Hospital. It serves as the face of HJE, coordinating and producing all materials representing the Hospital.
It is the Marketing teams role to reach out to prospective patients, consultants, GP’s and Allied Health professionals and community whilst creating an overarching image that represents our beliefs and values and generating profitable leads for the hospital.
Located in leafy St John’s Wood on the Jubilee line, minutes from Central London, our independent private Hospital has just been rated the number one in the country for care in the latest Bupa survey. Uniquely, all profits fund our onsite Hospice, St John’s.
Am I the right person for this Marketing & Communication Assistant role?
- Educated to degree level in Marketing or a relevant subject (or possess equivalent experience)
- An ability to work independently and take decisions – but know when to seek guidance ‐ and deliver to deadlines
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with individuals at all levels
- Independent hospital sector experience is desirable
- At least 1 years’ experience of marketing and or communications is desirable
- Results orientated
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of Independent Hospitals
- Personal organisation and time management: an ability to prioritise flexibly, to work to tight deadlines; to complete tasks
- Ability to develop and establish strong networks (internally and externally) is desirable
- Knowledge and understanding of the private healthcare and NHS industry is desirable
- A track record of proven delivery, demonstrating both creative and analytical skills is desirable
What are the Responsibilities of this Marketing & Communication Assistant role?
- To organise and support the delivery of Patient, GP and Consultant events
- Work with team to create highly engaging, patient-focused content for our website, social media and campaigns to increase treatment enquiries
- To be involved in the design elements of collateral, both digital and print.
- To support the development of the HJE website.
- Work with the team to help deliver internal communications and collateral.
- Work with the team to measure impact of activity, such as tracking campaigns and data analysis.
- Work with third-party suppliers such as web developers, designers and printers.
- Help to organise and support the delivery of patient events.
