Description

We are looking for a Reception Administrator to work within the Front of House team who is professional, well-organised and can provide high quality administrative support.

As part of the front of house team, you will be the first contact and be committed to ensuring all patients, staff and visitors continually receive a friendly welcome as well as professional and polite assistance. You will also have responsibility for providing high quality administrative.

Located in leafy St John’s Wood on the Jubilee line, minutes from Central London, our luxury private Hospital has an international reputation for providing the highest quality of care to patients and is unique in that all profits fund our onsite Hospice, St John’s.

What are the responsibilities of this Front of House Reception Administrator role?

  • Receive patients, clinicians, staff and other visitors to the Hospital in a welcoming and professional manner.
  • Arrange appointments for in-patient and outpatient examinations, liaising with clinicians, patients and other members of the Imaging team as appropriate.
  • Ensure all Request Forms and clinical documents are scanned into the RIS
  • Undertake all aspects of patient registration, charging and examination scheduling using the hospital PAS and RIS systems, ensuring that all data is correct and up to date.
  • Co-ordinate requests for specialised examinations with the availability of radiologists and other service providers.
  • To maintain cash floats and raise invoices according to the Hospital policy

Am I the right person for this Reception Administrator role?

  • Literate and numerate with a good level of education to GCSE-level (or equivalent) standard
  • Proven office and customer service experience in previous employment
  • Previous experience in a customer service role
  • Desirable previous experience in a clinical setting
  • IT literate to include windows, Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
  • Able to work within a team
  • Ability to process data and amend computerised records
  • Good organisational skills and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work in a busy environment and under pressure
