Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Delivery Manager to join our team who will be responsible for owning the end-to-end operational services for our information technology function as well as acting as a primary interface with our key stakeholders. As IT Service Delivery Manager you will be responsible for managing and planning the daily operational activities within the service delivery teams. Excellent experience in Service Transition and improvements within IT Services. Must have high-level experience across Applications, Infrastructure, Data, Cloud, Architecture, and Cyber Security.

Support and development of all IT service delivery functions and processes. To assist in maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information assets by employing robust, best practices in managing and supporting systems and services.

Am I the right person for this IT Service Delivery Manager role?

  • Min of 4 GCSE’s or equivalent (including English and Mathematics
  • Excellent Service Management skills – ITIL ITSM
  • BSc in scientific or IT subject or equivalent qualification
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Good keyboard and IT-related skills
  • Analytical approach and the ability to make appropriate decisions

 

What are the Responsibilities of this IT Service Delivery Manager role?

  • Provide a proactive leadership role within IT operations.

Ensure that the Customer Service and Service delivery personnel perform their duties to provide high-quality support.

  • Ensure that SLAs are met for calls, tickets and other deliverables.
  • Participate in projects and service delivery.
  • Coordinate with Service delivery managers and local support personnel.
  • Provide reports, updates and feedback from time to time, as requested.
  • To build relationships with heads of departments, consultants and all end-users throughout the organisation.
  • To provide a physically present and visible management presence to represent IT positively within the organisation
  • To enhance the department's reputation and improve its service's credibility.
  • To monitor, manage and take ownership of the delivery of IT services by external contractors and third-party/outsource providers.
