The hospital of St John and St Elizabeth are looking for experienced waiting staff to join our busy in house catering team.
The post holder will assist the smooth running of the canteen and also the food service delivered on the wards
The Catering Department provides an effective and efficient food service within the wards and hospitality events, ensuring the highest food safety standards at all times to patients, visitors and staff.
Located in leafy St John’s Wood on the Jubilee line, minutes from Central London, our independent private Hospital has just been rated the number one in the country for care in the latest Bupa survey. Uniquely, all profits fund our onsite Hospice, St John’s.
Am I the right person for this Waiting Staff role?
- Good general education, GCSE’s or equivalent.
- Experience of providing a fast and efficient meals service
- Experience of working in a Hospital environment
- Evident experience of working in a team
- Excellent command of the English language
- Organized, efficient and reliable.
- Team player
- Well presented.
What are the Responsibilities of this Waiting Staff role?
- To provide an efficient meal service and to ensure the adequate supply of refreshments.
- To ensure the counters are adequately stocked.
- To set up the hot/cold server.
- To provide an efficient meals service and ensure the provision of adequate supplies of coffee/tea/fresh water.
- To ensure all ward kitchens are stocked adequately.
- To distribute and collect completed menus from patients’ rooms.
