We are looking for a Resuscitation Lead who will be a visible leader and work with the External Resuscitation Service Provider and the Outreach Team to advocate for best practice in Resuscitation; using current evidence based knowledge to develop, implement and evaluate the Resuscitation provision, promoting excellence in patient care and facilitate multi-professional working.
To achieve this, the Resuscitation lead Adults will work with the Paediatric Resuscitation Lead to coordinate and support a group of Link Practitioners ensuring their practice is in line with latest Resuscitation Council National Guidance, and that this is embedded at local level with all staff.
To provide evidence of successful Resuscitation management, the post holder will organise and participate in and monitor clinical departmental resuscitation trolley/equipment audits (in conjunction with the Cardiology lead) that will provide assurance to the hospital that Resuscitation Service is being appropriately managed
Staff Nurse to join our busy surgical ward, St Andrews, our 15 bedded ward specialising in providing care to a variety of surgical specialties, including; urology, gastrointestinal surgery and plastics/cosmetic surgery.
The successful applicant will have been working in a similar environment and will be up to date in current practices. Experience will extend to working within a busy ward and professional, multi-disciplinary teams. Ideally, you will have worked in a ward specialising in stroke rehabilitation. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a thriving busy team and wants to work with excellent staff to patient ratios.
